Our bond processes are based upon our view that value can be consistently added through fundamental, wide-ranging economic research. Our investment strategy unit, part of the bonds team, scrutinise both market and macro-economic indicators in order to assess the investment climate in the context of the wider economic background.

Our aim is to identify those factors which will be the drivers of bond market movements in the months ahead. We concentrate our resources on examining the prospects for inflation, likely changes in real yields and likely changes in the inflation risk premium. In addition, valuations and technical dynamics are important considerations in the investment decision, with an international perspective applied at all times.
