Legal & General Property (LGP) is a top 5 UK Institutional Property Fund Manager responsible for assets of

£8.3 billion (as at end December 2009). We have 16 funds and one segregated mandate comprising over 430 properties and 2300 tenants. In 2009 we transacted nearly £1bn including over £600m of purchases. Total property transactions for 2007 - 2008 were over £4bn.

We have 30 years experience in the operation of property investment vehicles. We are a full delivery business incorporating 85 London based staff, including 40 Fund and Asset Managers. We provide asset management, research, project management, planning, development and fund accounting combined with the benefits of scale. We bring all these elements together to maximise the returns that can be extracted from property assets. Our scale gives fund managers access to specific property experts, leading property agents, consultants and developers allowing them to identify and access unique property investment opportunities many of which are unavailable to smaller managers.

 

In addition, we are committed to developing world class buildings, using internationally renowned architects and consultants. In London, current projects include Walbrook Square, Central Saint Giles and Agar Street.
