Bracknell regeneration partnership.

CGI of the proposed development of Bracknell Town Centre

The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) was established in 2003 as a 50/50 joint venture vehicle between Legal & General's Life Fund and SEPUT (Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust).

The Partnership's objective is to work closely with Bracknell Forest Council to deliver a comprehensive mixed-use regeneration of Bracknell town centre designed to create a vibrant destination of choice for the people of Bracknell in the twenty first century.

The regeneration plans comprise new homes, shops, leisure facilities and landscaped public spaces and include:

  • A 36,000 sqft state of the art Waitrose store which opened in November 2011
  • 56,000 sqm of further new retail space
  • 62,000 sqm of new commercial floor space
  • 5,500 sqm of new leisure floor space
  • 3,500 new car parking spaces
  • Up to 1,000 new housing units

It is anticipated that construction will commence on the redevelopment of the northern part of the town centre in late 2013/ early 2014.
