The Fund was launched in 1977 and benefits from a diverse exposure to a broad range of UK freehold and leasehold property.
The Fund has over £690m of commercial property assets (as at end December 2009) and invests in all main property asset sectors including retail, retail warehouse, office and industrial/distribution properties.
The Fund provides a balanced UK property exposure with strategic weightings to sectors forecast to outperform. Furthermore, added value is derived from leasing and income initiatives, in addition to superior stock selected through a rigorous asset analysis process.
The Fund has some investment exposure to indirect vehicles, providing the benefit of further diversification and specialist management/assets within these funds.
