The Managed Fund was launched in June 1971 and is an open-ended Fund available to occupational pension schemes.
The Fund is valued at £484m (as at end June 2008) and invests in UK freehold and leasehold property recognising that superior stock selection is a key to outperformance. The Fund is low–medium risk and as such does not engage in higher risk activities such as development or investment in non-core sectors. The Fund has the capability to invest in indirect vehicles.
A focus on income enhancement and added value creation is key to the strategy of this fund.
